Dial and Move Kenya provides relocation, moving, packing, transportation, and storage services within Kenya and, where applicable, internationally.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By booking our services, accessing our website, or engaging with our team, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms of Service.
3. Services Provided
Our services include, but are not limited to:
Residential (household) moving
Office and corporate relocation
Packing and unpacking services
Furniture handling and transportation
Storage solutions
All services are subject to availability and confirmation.
4. Quotations and Pricing
All quotations are estimates based on the information provided by the client.
Final charges may vary depending on:
Actual volume of goods
Distance and accessibility
Additional services requested
Quotes are valid for a limited time (typically 7–14 days unless stated otherwise).
5. Booking and Payments
A booking is confirmed upon payment of a deposit or full amount as agreed.
Payments can be made via M-Pesa, bank transfer, or other approved methods.
Full payment must be completed before or immediately after service delivery unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to:
Provide accurate details about items, locations, and access conditions
Ensure all items are properly declared
Be present (or assign a representative) during pickup and delivery
Secure valuables such as cash, jewelry, documents, and fragile personal items
7. Prohibited Items
We do not transport:
Illegal goods
Hazardous materials (flammables, explosives, chemicals)
Perishable or dangerous items
Undisclosed high-value items
Dial and Move Kenya reserves the right to refuse such items.
8. Packing and Handling
We provide professional packing services where requested.
If the client chooses self-packing, we are not responsible for damage caused by inadequate packing.
9. Liability and Insurance
Dial and Move Kenya does not provide automatic insurance coverage for goods in transit or storage.
Clients are strongly advised to arrange their own insurance coverage.
We are not liable for:
Loss or damage beyond our reasonable control
Pre-existing damage
Improperly packed items by the client
Delays caused by traffic, weather, or unforeseen circumstances
10. Storage Terms
Storage services are billed based on agreed terms (daily, weekly, or monthly).
Items stored are at the client’s risk unless insured by the client.
Failure to pay storage fees may result in withholding of goods until payment is made.
11. Delays and Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays caused by:
Traffic conditions
Weather disruptions
Government actions or restrictions
Mechanical breakdowns
Other unforeseen events beyond our control
12. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made at least 24–48 hours in advance.
Deposits may be partially or fully non-refundable depending on timing.
Rescheduling is subject to availability.
13. Claims and Complaints
Any claims for loss or damage must be reported within 24 hours after delivery.
Claims must include supporting evidence (photos, inventory, etc.).
We will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
14. Website Use
All content on our website is for informational purposes only.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of website content is prohibited.
15. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected is used strictly for service delivery and communication. We do not sell or share your data with third parties without consent.
16. Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes shall be resolved within Kenyan jurisdiction.
